The full review embargo for James Gunn’s Superman lifts later today, but the social media reactions have been flooding in after the first round of press/fan screenings and spoiler alert… they’re almost all full of praise for the film. Fans everywhere are delirious over David Corenswet’s Kal-El, the world that’s been created and the overall joyous and uplifting feeling the film is giving audiences.

A common theme of the praise is the mention of the hopeful, uplifting feeling that people are walking away from the film and that by far is the most encouraging thing to takeaway. Superman by design should be hopeful and joyous, to see that spirit is reflected so heavily in the film should give encouragement to all fans going into the final week before its’ global release.
