Dave Franco and Alison Brie bring their relationship to the big screen, with new horror film, “Together”.

Neon Studios have released the first official trailer for “Together”; a new horror film that brings Dave Franco with his wife Alison Brie, for some supernatural torture and chilling terror. Watch the new trailer for “Together” below.

“Together” follows the story of a couple who retreat to a secluded house in the countryside after surviving a traumatic event as they look to repair the house and their fractured relationship. That’s until they encounter something in the house that has no intention of letting them leave.

Director Michael Shanks helms the project, bringing the real-life couple of Franco and Brie to screen as Tim and Millie, two lovers grappling with grief and doubt in the aftermath of a tragic event. The couple find themselves at an important chapter in their lives and are forced to look at all the dynamics of the relationship. What seems like the perfect setting for a new start in this isolated rural estate quickly shifts when weird occurrences begin; whispers in the night, objects moving and recurring images, all hinting at a supernatural element to this story.

“Together” premiered at Sundance Film Festival to strong acclaim for its entertaining story and impressive body horror; all presented alongside a grounded and realistic representation of a couple from Franco and Brie, which should come as no surprise. The film presents a fascinating insight into attraction and attachment, being played out on top of some classic horror tropes, and whilst the trailer doesn’t say too much there is clearly a lot of depth to be unpacked. The strong reviews intrigued me and with the release of the trailer it is now one of my more anticipated films for the summer.

“Together” releases on the 30th of July, what did you think of the trailer? Are you intrigued? Let us know in the comments and follow for more updates on the biggest releases in Tv and Film.
